Is CISF and CAPF same?

As per the CAPF 2021 notification, there are a total of 159 vacancies available in various CAPF departments like Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

How do I become an assistant commandant in CISF?

The candidates aspiring to join the CISF as an Assistant Commandant need to qualify the CAPF exam conducted by UPSC annually. The exam consists of 3 phases: Phase -I: Written-test. Phase- II: Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standard Test.
