Are borderline personalities toxic?
Many people still believe that those living with it can be manipulative or dangerous due to their symptoms. While this can be the case in a very small minority of people, most people with BPD are just struggling with their sense of self and their relationships. It’s important to note that we’re not dangerous people.

- Impulsive, self-destructive behaviors.

Can a BPD person be toxic to you?
Anyone can be toxic for you. Referring to people with borderline personality disorder as “BPD people” and constantly putting toxic and abusive labels on us, obviously damages us more than you’d think. Having BPD doesn’t make you toxic. It doesn’t make you incapable of love or friendship.
