The larger component parts of any GLOCK pistol – the frame, the stock and the slide – are interchangeable between different models.

The firing pin, spring cups, strikers, pins, extractors, triggers, etc are all the same. The slide, barrel, and magazine determines the caliber. The barrel hole diameter in the slide is different on the 23 and the 19. Glock did this on purpose for commonality of parts.
