Is CSAB based on CRL?
Your rank in Common Rank List i.e. CRL rank will be used in CSAB Special Round. This is also known as General AIR.
Which rank does CSAB consider?
Here, in CSAB rounds the CRL Rank is considered rathar than that of Category Rank. However, the reservation seats are to be filled up by the reserved candidates and not by General/UR.
Will I get a seat in CSAB?
The registered candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their JEE Main merit, preferences, and availability of seats. The seat allotment result of the CSAB 2021 special round has been released in online mode. The selected candidates will have the option to either freeze, float, or cancel their allotted seat.
What if I dont get a seat in CSAB?
The participation Fee (Rs 46,000 for OP & OBC and Rs 21,000 for SC, ST, PwD) will be refunded after deducting the processing fee of Rs 1000, if no seat is allotted to the candidate. There will be no refund if the candidate is allotted a seat in the Special Round.
Can I participate in CSAB without participating in JoSAA?
Yes you can participate in CSAB counselling without participating in JoSAA counselling. Central Seat Allocation Board will be conducting CSAB 2021 to provide admissions into the participating institutes (IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs) on the basis of JEE Main scores.
Who can apply for CSAB Neut?
CSAB NEUT 2021 Eligibility Criteria Students are desirous to pursue B.E/B. Tech course should have passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject and should have obtained at least 75\% marks in class 12.

Can I apply for CSAB after getting seat in JoSAA?
If you have been allotted any seat in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs through JoSAA and you are retaining your JoSAA seat, then also you can take part in csab special round counseling. So, yes you can participate in csab special round counseling, after withdrawing your josaa seat.
