The 60-lb Specialist can be my go-to PA whitetail bow. 15 or 20 years ago yes a bow shot better near it’s peak weight. Todays bows are soo efficient that even pro shooters wouldn’t see/feel the difference. That said I don’t shoot my bows as well if I turn them under 70lbs.
