What Mos gets the most combat?

Technically, it’s going to be the US Army, but that’s just by the numbers.

  • Navy SEALS.
  • Army Rangers.
  • Force Recon Marines.
  • Carrier-Based Aircraft.
  • F-22 Fighter Wings.
  • Naval Ships.
  • 509th Bomb Wing.
  • The Highest Combat. Certainly, in sheer numbers, the Army sees the most action.

Do all marine Mos see combat?

Contrary to what you see in the movies, the chances of seeing combat in the army are low. You will not necessarily be seeing combat even if you are an infantry soldier. 40\% of service members do NOT see combat, and of the remaining 60\%, only 10\% to 20\% are deployed into the combat premise.

For combat arms, the Marine Corps breaks the jobs into two groups: load-bearing and non load-bearing combat arms. Load-bearing jobs are those in infantry, reconnaissance, force reconnaissance, combat engineer fields, and critical skills operators.

What Mos deploys the most?

Hard one to answer. Of course combat arms MOS’s get deployed the most regularly. Least deployed are highly technical jobs like Medical Equipment Calibration Specialist. Look for this type of MOS.

What are the different MOS in the Marines?

The United States Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is a system of categorizing career fields. All enlisted and officer Marines are assigned a four-digit code denoting their primary occupational field and specialty. Colonels are considered fully qualified Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) officers and, with the exception of lawyers and MOSs 8059/61 Acquisition Management Professionals, will only hold MOSs 8040, 8041, or 8042 as PMOS.
