Do airlines care what flight school you went to?

It really doesn’t matter to the airlines. If an airline requires a four-year degree they don’t care what the field of study is, just that the person has a degree. Your choice of school is very important, and your skills are also very important when interviewing.

Does it matter where you get your flight training?

You have to want to do it. You have to want to be doing it. To directly answer your question, it may matter some to a few major airline recruiters for hiring direct but it won’t matter to regionals and it won’t make a difference to majors if you’re coming from a regional.
