Is IB board difficult?

It has a broader spectrum of subjects that lead to all-round development. IB examinations test students’ knowledge, not their memory and speed. The IB curriculum is more challenging than educational boards like CBSE and ICSE. But the challenge is in the quality of assignments, not in the amount of work assigned.

Is IB Board easy?

I should mention here that the IB syllabus is not easy if you want to do well you have to work hard. To do assignments, students have to do hard work and require continuous involvement in studies. Doing a lot of assignments helps students to prepare for college.

Is IB a good board?

Exposure: IB board is widely recognized and is well-versed in a large number of foreign and domestic universities. While CBSE schools are also widely exposed to the various learning patterns around the globe, which enable the students to excel in various fields and universities on an international platform.

What are IB exams like?

In the IB diploma program, each IB course is scored on a scale from one to seven, with seven representing the highest mark possible. Students in the program typically take six courses and must also complete the theory of knowledge; extended essay; and creativity, action, service requirements.

Is IB good for kids?

Higher level courses completed with good grades may be converted to university credits. IB also prepares your child for university in terms of learning pace and density, and similar workload; IB is not for all children due to its increased learning pace and learning density, as well as financial restrictions.

Multiple-choice questions: Unlike other exams, multiple-choice questions are rarely used in IB assessment. Like short-response questions, focus on exactly what is being asked in a multiple-choice question and ensure your answer addresses all the elements in the question.

What is wrong with IB?

Many people might not notice this but the first and biggest flaw of the IB is its tendency to idealize things in which everything revolves around trying to find solutions to problems that cannot be solved. During the IB, I’ve discussed controversial topics such as ISIS and Crimea in TOK.
