What is AMO in Groww app?

In stock market terms, a market order means any transaction that includes buying or selling of shares.

How do you trade in AMO?

SL orders cannot be placed using AMO. AMO can be placed as a limit as well as market type orders. AMO can be placed anytime on weekends and trading holidays. An option is available in Zerodha Kite to place AMO’s….AMO Order Time.

When can we place Amo order?

After-market Orders (AMO): You can place orders any time from 3:45 PM to 8:57 AM for NSE & 3:45 to 8:59 AM for BSE (until just before the pre-opening session) for the equity segment and up to 9:10 AM for F&O. So you could plan your trades and place your orders before the market opens.

AMO’s can be placed on all products and on all exchanges. You can also utilize margin provided on all AMO intraday orders….After Market Order.

Can I buy share after 3.30 Groww?

Trading sessions in India start at 9.15 a.m and end at 3.30 p.m. and more often than note trading sessions are only on weekdays. Stock markets are shut on weekdays unless the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), our markets regulator, states otherwise.

Which is better AMO or pre-market order?

Placing a pre-market order has a better chance of being executed than an AMO. But placing an AMO is more convenient as you can place it anytime between 3:45 PM to 8:57 AM for NSE & 3:45 PM to 8:59 AM for BSE and not wait for the pre-market timings.

Can Amo orders be Cancelled?

You can cancel aftermarket orders (AMO) anytime before it gets executed. AMO orders are orders placed after the market closes. You have time, till the market opens or your order is executed, to cancel the AMO order. The process to cancel an AMO order is the same as any other normal order.

At what price is Amo executed?

Using the previous example, if it is a buy order and is placed at +/-5\% and the share price opens at Rs. 105 on Tuesday, your order is executed at Rs. 105. After Market Orders can also be placed through the Call & Trade facility.

What is limit in Groww?

Share: In a limit order, the investor has to specify a quantity and the desired price at which he or she wants to make the transaction. Say a share is currently trading at Rs 100 per share but the investor wants to buy it at Rs 95 per share. A limit order of say 10 shares at Rs 95 per share is placed.
