At what time AMO will execute?

* If MCX AMO order is placed during the market hours the order will go through the next day at 9 AM….AMO Order Time.

Which order gets executed first AMO or pre market?

As pre market orders get executed before 9:08 AM and after market orders are executed after 9:15 AM. And volume is quite low in the stocks which are in lower circuit or upper circuit, it is always beneficial to place pre market order.

Can I sell at the open price in Amo?

There is no guarantee of being able to sell at the open price. You can place an AMO market order that will be sent to the pre-open session. If the order isn’t filled, it’ll be carried into the regular market time (9.15) and converted to a market order. You can do this using the SL order type.

Usually Brokers allows AMO orders somewhere between 5:00 pm and 9:00 am for Cash, F&O and Currency segments. Execution Of AMO Orders: All AMO orders are sent by Broker to the Exchange after market opening and it will get executes the price you place the trade or it will be pending till your price reaches.

Using AMO you can place orders as per your strategy in the hours when the market is closed. Then the order you placed will be taken into consideration next day on the opening of market. But if place AMO during market hours your order will be rejected automatically.
