Did Garp let Luffy go?

Garp also claims Luffy was poisoned by Shanks with ideas of becoming a pirate, as Garp wanted Luffy to be a great Marine like him. However, Luffy claims otherwise and told Garp that even as a child he wanted to be a pirate. Garp left Luffy in Dadan’s care as a child, which is how he met Ace.

Does GARP care about Luffy?

He is proud, but he seeks larger. As of now, Garp is surely counting on Luffy as a pirate to grow big enough. Garp is able to remain a vice admiral and still take the position of the nominal strongest marine aka. marine hero, which is probably the best position for him at this point.

How does GARP feel about Ace?

Garp believes in justice through and through while Ace had a different worldview. Garp did try to keep Ace alive by training him to become Marines, but it didn’t work as Ace and Luffy became pirates. Garp wanted to save Ace, but there’s no way that he would’ve escaped Marineford with him without much resistance.

What if Luffy joined revolutionary army?

Sabo, the long thought dead brother of Luffy and Ace, returned out of the blue in the Dressrosa arc and was labeled as a general of the Revolutionary. If Luffy ended up joining the Revolutionary, he would have reminded him of their history, and together they would have made a threatening duo for the Marines.

How will the Luffy and Garp fight?

And Luffys crew will fight Garp at full strength but this time Garp joins Luffy against the Navy, and flashback of Dragons conversation with Garp comes along. Then Luffy destroying the entire Island of Holy Marie, is joined by the Converted Nobles that were influenced by Shirahoshis mother.

What did Shanks do to Luffy in one piece?

Luffy was on the verge to die when Shanks saw him at Maqrienford but he didn’t try to assist it . Shanks never interfere in Luffy’s business . He sacrify his arms for him and made the bet he would become the Pirate King and asked him to give him back the Strawhats when it will be at his level .

Should Luffy lower the flag to another captain?

Lowering his flag to other captain is unthinkable for him and the same goes for his crew, they follow Luffy because he won their trust and want to make him the Pirate King (even if they have to give up on their dreams). It will ruin Luffy’s character.

Why can’t Luffy and his crew join the Whitebeard Pirates?

The Whitebeard pirates have broken up since the Summit war and death of Whitebeard. So Luffy and his crew cannot join a pirate crew which no longer exists. , Expert in Naruto and One Piece.
