Did Sabo forget Luffy and Ace?

Well in the anime it was revealed that after the incident with the celestial dragon, Sabo had lost his memory and was able to remember his past and about Ace and luffy only after he read about the execution of Ace by the Marines. Before Ace’s execution he was just another wanted pirate for Sabo.
