When auditioning for a theater company, make sure you know some background information (past shows, date established, awards won, etc.) on the company. The casting people will be pleased to hear something different than “Not much” if they ask you what you know about the company.
How do I apply for a virtual audition?
You can click the Virtual Audition Link at the start of your Virtual Audition time window if you registered for a time window that day. You will then be in an online waiting room until you are admitted into the Virtual Audition room, where you will see one or more producers for whom you will audition.

Family, friends, managers, vocal instructors, etc. will NOT be allowed at the audition. If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you during your audition, you must provide a copy of your birth certificate or other legal document as proof of guardianship.

Run through the materials back and forth, until you can perform the audition without a script or notes. Know that, in the room, it is okay to check your notes every now and then, but you’ll always be more convincing if you have the words mostly memorized. This lets you focus more on acting and less on reading.
