Can you use AHA BHA on active acne?

AHA is best for dry skin and surface-level skin concerns like acne scars. BHAs are best for oily and acne-prone skin types. You can use both by buying products with both ingredients, or by alternating products.

Can you spot treat with the ordinary AHA BHA?

I find this an effective spot treatment – not it doesn’t get rid of spots instantly, but I can tell the next day that the spot isn’t getting worse and then the day after that, the spot goes down.
