Is Cie harder than other GCSEs?

Most of us doing/who have done CIE tend to think it must be harder simply because of the difficulty. In the same way we would say it is harder than IB, SAM, CPU, and Edexcel’s GCE A Levels. Edexcel produces IGCSEs just like CIE does, but when it used to produce O Levels, these were far more difficult than CIE’s IGCSEs.

(In Edexcel International A Level Physics, you can even lose 20\% marks in some units and gain a full UMS) Also CIE AS and A Level is not devided into units. For example for Physics you have AS Level: Paper 1, 2 and 3 (1 for MCQ 2 for structured questions and 3 for practicals) and A2: Paper 4 and 5 (structured questions and experiment design).

These two exam boards tend to structure their examinations differently.
