What does DIN mean camera?

DIN. Deutsches Institut für Normung. A logarithmic system for expressing film speed in common use in Europe since 1934. Now combined with the ASA linear system, in the form of the ISO system.

What is the function of ISO DIN dial?

The ISO (International Standards Organization) number is the value of sensitivity. A low ISO setting or value of a film needs more light to be effective, while a high ISO needs less light. High ISO numbers are better for darker shots, while lower ISO numbers are better for daylight.
