What is the difference between the ASQ and the ssmbb?
Those words sound very similar, but there is a huge difference. ASQ requires passing a test, truly relevant career experience, and a series of large, documented, approved projects for the SSBB and SSMBB. Even IASSC (which many people consider to be the next most prestigious) only requires passing a test.
Is ASQ harder to get into than six sigma?
Now that said, at the Green Belt level ASQ has dropped its requirement of projects and only requires a small amount of career experience in addition to passing a test, and that makes it only slightly harder to get than the IASSC Green Belt certificate. I have two ASQ certifications myself, but neither are in Six Sigma.
