Can you move laptop parts to a PC?

Typically no. Laptops use a different style motherboard than PCs, so you need adapters to be able to interchange parts. However, you can probably use a laptop CPU in a PC, and adapters for hard drives are readily available.

Are laptop and desktop motherboards interchangeable?
