Can a 20 year old give IAS exam in 2022?

The minimum age to appear for IAS Exam is 21 years. This means that the candidate must have at least 21 years of age on 1st August of that given year when the exam is held. For example, if the candidate is appearing for 2022 prelims, he/she should be above 21 years of age by Aug 1, 2022.

How can I calculate my Upsc age?

UPSC calculates age as of 1st August of the year in which the exam is conducted. So, for the 2021 civil services exam, you should be above 21 years of age as of 1st August 2021. Even the upper age is calculated as of 1st August. So, you should not be more than 32 years as of 1st August 2021.
