How do I connect my guitar pickup to my speakers?

If you do not already have an amplifier, the kind you want will be called an acoustic guitar amplifier. It will include a quarter-inch jack labeled “input” or “instrument.” Plug your quarter-inch cable into the output jack of your guitar at one end, and into the input jack of your amplifier and turn it on.
