What is ALC camp in NCC?

Six Advance Leadership Camps (ALC), are conducted every year, which a total of 1350 cadets attend to focus on personality development, leadership skills and orientation for induction into the Armed Forces.

CHANDIGARH: The National Cadet Corps (NCC), Chandigarh group, will raise a new Remount and Veterinary (R&V) squadron within a couple of weeks. It would provide cadets an opportunity to undertake adventure activities such as horse-riding.

What is paratrooper camp in NCC?

The Para Basic Course: The camp lasts for about a month. The initial days are to train and build stamina and confidence of cadets to make the jumps. The training for Para Basic Course is held at Paratroopers Training Schools, Agra along with all the Indian commandos.

Each NCC Camp is structured for approximately 400 – 600 cadets with Instructional staff comprising three to four officers and 15-20 Associate NCC Officers (ANOs)/ Permanent Instructors (PI) Staff/ Whole Time Lady Officers (WTLOs)/ Girl Cadet Instructors (GCIs). More than 8 lakh cadets attend these camps each year.

Hence,the main aim of NIC camp is to learn & share the culture & tradition of various states. Whereas in the ALC camp you will be able to meet various officers from all the 3 services which will be very beneficial for your SSB.You can also clear your any doubts regarding all the forces by special officers.

ALC- Advance Leadership Camp it is organised once on a year. First BLC-Basic Leadership Camp is organised and cadets are selected form it for ALC. Nau Sainik Camp. This camp is conducted annually for Naval Wing Cadets. Boat pulling regatta and sailing competitions are the main activities of this camp. 560 cadets attend the camp. Vayu Sainik Camp.
