What are the form of thoughts?

Thought form refers to the formation and coherence of a patient’s thoughts. Formal thought disorders are derangements of this form, resulting in thoughts that are often difficult to follow or understand.

What is the physical form of a thought?

Thoughts are physical representations or maps. They have shape and weight. The brain, and its functional product the mind, evolved as a map of the body’s relation to its external environment.

How should our thoughts be formed?

Neurons release brain chemicals, known as neurotransmitters, which generate these electrical signals in neighboring neurons. The electrical signals propagate like a wave to thousands of neurons, which leads to thought formation. One theory explains that thoughts are generated when neurons fire.
