How many candidates applied for ALP 2018?

Over 47 lakh candidates have applied for 64,037 ALP & Technician posts. The exam was held in phases starting from August 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 29, 30, 31 and September 4. Going by the official figures, over 36 lakh candidates have taken part in the examination while around 11 lakh candidates skipped the same.
