What is an E2 chord?

An E2 guitar chord involves either substituting a note or adding a fourth note. The F# is on the second fret of the E string, so to turn an E major chord into an Eadd9, all you have to do is take your pinky and put it on the E string at the second fret. Eadd9. Give it a try.
