Will one beer show up on a urine drug test?

Urine tests can detect alcohol long after you’ve had your last drink. These tests look for traces of alcohol metabolites. The average urine test can detect alcohol between 12 and 48 hours after drinking. More advanced testing can measure alcohol in the urine 80 hours after you drink.

How much EtG does one drink produce?

Typically a single drink (or 4oz glass of wine) causes a peek level at about 2-4 hours of somewhere around 400ng/ml of EtG. By 24 hours the level of EtG is usually going to be much lower, at about 100ng/ml.

Does alcohol show up on an ETG test?

The EtG test is quite sensitive and can detect even low levels of alcohol. In fact, the test can detect alcohol in the urine up to five days after consumption. A problem with the EtG test is that it can produce a positive test from the mere exposure to alcohol that’s present in many daily use products.

How many ETG do you get from a single Drink?

The best I can tell from studies is that a single drink will net you about 40,000 EtG (some people estimate 5,000, but I think the safest upper limit is 50,000. I used 40,000 for all my tests). I’m an alcoholic, in forced treatment.

EtG (Ethyl Glucurinide) is what UA’s look for. This is a metabolite of ethanol, and will amount to somewhere between 0.01–0.1\% of the alcohol you consume. The stuff has a half-life in your system if about 2–3.5 hours, with a safe mean of about 3.
