Is Nats compulsory?

Yes, it is mandatory for establishment to fill bank details for processing claims. How the student will receive stipend? The student will receive the stipend in the bank details mentioned.

What is tentative exam date?

Tentative exam result date means the date on which you are expecting the results. Similarly tentative provisional certificate date means the expected date your college/university will give the provisional certificate.

Do companies do BGV before or after the employee joins?

Some companies do BGV prior to the candidate’s joining. But many companies do it after the employee joins. The reason for this is most of the companies outsource BGV to professional organisations & there is a cost involved. If the employee doesn’t join the amount spent doesn’t serve the purpose.

Will this report affect my BGV?

It shall not affect your BGV. All the companies have BGV teams who does all this via some third party, They won’t disclose each and every detail to you unless your BGV fails. The report is generated once your BGV is done and it can positive or negative.

What is background verification (BGV)?

Background verification (BGV) is a process by which the employer checks the authenticity of the information the candidate furnishes at the time of his joining.

How long does it take to go through BGV?

The time taken for a through BGV for one candidate will be around 15 days. These are the causes for BGV’s being done after the candidate joins. If we fill up a few vacancies a year BGV before joining but when hundreds of candidates are recruited then it becomes impractical to do BGV beforehand, though I would still advocate BGV before joining.
