Can I give JEE without preparation?

If you are someone who has not yet begun preparing for the exam, and have had little or no formal coaching for it, you can still get through the exam by preparing at home. Coaching, while important, is not necessary to crack the JEE.

What should we not study for JEE?

How many hours a day should you study for JEE?

JEE Daily Schedule: Even if you study for 2 hours daily, make sure you make full use of two hours. The ideal time from my experience to study is 4 hours at least daily and give 1 extra hour daily only for solving mock papers (only those questions you have covered).

How should I start my JEE preparation?

Measure your learning and performance.

  1. Go through the complete syllabus of JEE.
  2. The books and study material required for JEE preparation.
  3. Prepare a study schedule or time table.
  4. Understand the basics, strengthen concepts and make a habit of problem solving.
  5. Join a coaching for systematic and guided preparation.

How can I avoid sleeping during JEE preparation?

So, we advise you to sleep at least for 7-8 hours a day. Otherwise, you will feel lethargic and low on energy throughout the day. Also, if you can’t sleep for 7-8 hours at night, just take naps in the afternoon. It will keep your body and mind relaxed while giving you a boost of energy and enhanced focus.

How many hours does an Iitian study?

So 4 to 5 hours study starting form 11th class will be helpful for JEE. As the exam date approaches, say 6 months from the JEE Mains, the study hours need to be increased to 8 hours. Give more focus on revision and solving last year’s JEE Mains and Advanced question papers.

Should I take a test for the JEE preparation?

Tests don’t help either because some coaching centers are determined to create papers which nobody would be able to solve. It is easy to get misled on this path, and the only compass that you have is the official JEE syllabus. Stick with it. On good days, I thought of myself as a boss.

How important is paper Analysis in the JEE preparation?

Paper analysis will tell you virtually everything you need to know about your preparations. Sometimes, it was just plain child-like fear to see my mistakes in JEE preparation and face them head-on that made me pass many papers without analyzing, and that cost me dearly. If it doesn’t rise, at least don’t let it fall.

Is it possible to crack Jee through self-study?

Even an online website which will help you with your doubts will do. Don’t just rely on yourself for making it through. Of course, people do crack JEE through self-study. It’s possible, but it’s truly exhausting, and something you needn’t do. I relied on myself a bit too much – just me, my dozen reference books per subject and tests.
