How do I pass HSK2?

Both the listening and reading sections are scored out of 100 points for a total of 200. To pass HSK level 2, you need to score at least 120 points in total. If you pass the HSK 2 test, Hanban will give you a certificate to certify your Chinese competence. The HSK 2 certificate has permanent validity.

Can I skip HSK1?

Can you skip HSK levels? Yes, there is no requirement to take any level before being allowed to take another, in fact, you could directly start with HSK 6 if you want.

How long does it take to reach HSK1?

At TutorMandarin, our HSK1 level courses are all 45 lessons. That means it will take you 45 hours of class time + homework and review time to pass this level. So, for example, If you study 2 times a week (and do review), this means you can complete a level (1 of 6) within 6 months.

How long does it take to learn HSK 2?

HSK 2: The HSK (Level II) is intended for students who have studied Chinese for two semesters (an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week.

What is hsk1?

The HSK (Level I) assesses test takers’ abilities in the application of everyday Chinese (Mandarin). Test takers who are able to pass the HSK (Level I) can understand and use very simple Chinese phrases, meet basic needs for communication and possess the ability to further their Chinese language studies.

Which HSK is fluent?

HSK 6. For the time being, HSK 6 is the highest level for advanced learners. The expectation here is that you’re fluent and can easily understand everything you hear and read.

Is HSK Level 1 hard?

HSK 1 is a rather easy test. That said, Hanban – the test organizer, did give a specific requirement on the minimum vocabulary you have to possess to pass the HSK 1 test: 150 words. Of course, you’re supposed to have the ability to understand simple dialogues constructed with these 150 basic words at this level.

How difficult is HSK 1?

HSK 1 is a rather easy test. It corresponds to the most basic Chinese skills, or A1- in CEFR scale. At this level, you’re not too occupied with grammar and stuff yet. You’ll be tested mostly on isolated words, phrases, and pre-packaged sentences.

How many hours should you study for HSK 1?

HSK 1: The HSK (Level I) is intended for students who have studied Chinese for a semester (half an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 150 commonly used words and basic grammar patterns.

Does HSK 2 have pinyin?

In HSK 2, Pinyin (Mandarin romanization) is still provided along with Chinese characters for all questions on the test paper (or screen), and there is no writing section, meaning you don’t really need to know any characters to pass the test (of course you’ll need to be totally comfortable reading Pinyin).

Is HSK Level 4 good?

HSK 4: This is equivalent to higher intermediate level in other languages. It’s good for daily street conversation between customers and vendors, asking for directions, family life, hobbies etc.

What is the difference between HSK 1 and HSK 2?

A HSK 1 and HSK 2 are the lowest levels and only require listening and reading and use pinyin and Chinese characters. From level 3 and above you lose the safety net of the pinyin.

How long does the HSK 2 test take?

How is the HSK exam structured?

To pass HSK 1 you will need a score of 60\%. By the time you finish this HSK 1 vocabulary test, you’ll know if you understand more or less than 60\% of the vocabulary in the exam. Of course, a 60\% score here doesn’t ensure a 60\% score in the real exam. Instead, use this a gauge as to how confident you should be when entering the exam.
