Can you rush another frat after being initiated?

Can I leave and then rush another IFC fraternity? In most instances, you cannot quit your fraternity and join another one. All national fraternities are part of the National Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The NIC explicitly states that you cannot join another fraternity if you have already been initiated into one.

Can you join a frat after rush week?

You have to go through rush week which is a general off campus event to meet one or more frats. If you are being introduced to the top people in the house and shown some love thst means they like you and if not leave and move on to another house.

Should you rush a frat again?

No, you shouldn’t rush the same house again, and it’s fraternity, not “frat.” You didn’t get a bid because they voted on you, and probably had some not too light discusion about you, but in the end, at least one brother in that organization had a strong problem making you his brother.

Answer: This process is often similar to the expelling a brother. In most cases, you can’t quit a fraternity. You need to be expelled. So your first step is requesting your chapter or fraternity to expel you.

This is a very risky, and you’re sure to fail. But it’s possible, to get rejected from every fraternity. I know you’re disappointed but not everything in life goes the way you want it to be. I went through the rush process at least once at my school, and still I’m not in a fraternity.

The best time to do this would be the first week of school, in the fall, because ALL of the fraternities will be there. Find out how many there are, what type of fraternity each one is, and what the rush events are for each one.

Often, a rushee will drink too much which will end up clouding his judgment of the event. There will be plenty of opportunities to drink more than your share. It isn’t smart to make RUSH one of them. Finally, don’t hesitate to cut ties with a fraternity if it isn’t a good fit for you.
