Can Thor Beat Galactus?
Galactus has been killed at the hands of Thor. He’s been beaten, but, as we’ve seen in the new Immortal Hulk comics, death doesn’t last long. However, now we know that he isn’t completely invincible as the God of Thunder has defeated and killed Galactus. That’s impressive in itself, but it gets better than that.
What happens after Thor kills Galactus?
Before the duo are successful, King Thor uses the power boost to kill Galactus once and for all. Thor then uses the power stored within Galactus’ corpse as a sort of bomb and obliterates the Black Winter.
Is Odin more powerful than Galactus?
Odin and all his fellow skyfathers are nowhere near Galactus in terms of power. RKT doesn’t have the feats to justify that claim. Rune King Thor was said to be more powerful than a pissed-off Odin. Add that with the Odinsword AND the Destroyer armor, thats IMO Overkill for Galactus.

When Thor fought Bor, he was essentially four Asgardians in one. And even then, it was a very close battle. Without the Odinforce, Thor would have had NO CHANCE. Both were on the edge of their endurance, having pushed themselves to their respective limits.
