Are single magnetic poles possible?

To our knowledge, it is not possible to produce a permanent magnet with only a single pole. Every magnet has at least 2 poles, a north and a south pole (see FAQ about north pole). They can’t be accumulated to a magnetic cluster that constitutes a monopole.

Can magnetic poles exist independently?

The magnetic poles cannot exist independently, like positive and negative charges. The magnetic poles always exist in pairs while positive and negative charge exists separately. The strength of the magnetic object is called magnetic strength. Therefore, the magnetic poles exist in pairs.

Does magnetic charge exist?
