Can a graduate apply for ACC entry?

Yes. He gets no advantage of his university degree while applying for ACC entry . The soldier with graduation is eligible for ACC entry provided he should have minimum army service and rank as prescribed in the SAI laid out for ACC entry.

How do you become an Army soldier?

THE PROCESS TO BECOME AN ENLISTED SOLDIER

  1. Pass a background check.
  2. Take the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
  3. Pass an Army medical exam.
  4. Meet with a recruiter to discuss and accept your Army job.
  5. Take an Oath of Enlistment.
  6. Ship to Basic Combat Training.

How to join the Indian Defense Forces after graduation degree?

The candidate should be aged between 21-27 years. The training for the JAG entry provided at Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai and for the joining the Indian Army the candidate has to go through the SSB interview. Another ways to join the Indian Defense Forces after the graduation degree is to sit for the UPSC examination for the same—CDSE.

To join as a soldier, you do not need any qualifications. There are some roles, which may be more technical, where some qualifications are needed.

What GCSEs do you need to become an army officer?

SOLDIER TO OFFICER. GCSE passes or equivalent in 5 subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at Grade C/4 (or above) or the nationally recognised equivalent. If you do not meet this criteria you will undergo an assessment at the Army School of Education, Worthy Down, before being recommended for the selection process.

Do I have to go to college to become an officer?

No, unless you want to serve as a Professionally Qualified Officer. When we recruit officers, we look for qualities rather than qualifications. You can start training to become an officer when you leave school at 18. You will have the chance to earn a degree while you’re serving – with the added benefit of earning a great salary at the same time.
