Can an amp be plugged into a power strip?

A typical surge protector/power strip is designed to safely be able to have loads that draw up to 15 amps. Plug another protector into it and both will safely carry 15 amps, but the voltage will drop with each additional protector. A typical surge protector/power strip with a 3 ft cord has about 0.2 ohms impedance.
