Can army officers wear uniform after retirement?

All military personnel who have retired from service can wear uniform with badges of rank when attending ceremonial parades or events of military nature. At all Armed Forces functions and ex-servicemen rallies and reunions.

What part of uniform is a Sam Browne?

The Sam Browne belt is a wide belt, usually leather, supported by a narrower strap passing diagonally over the right shoulder (although Royal Canadian Mounted Police non-commissioned members wear theirs over the left shoulder). It is most often a part of a military, para-military or police uniform.
