Can BIM be used in Mac?

bim.aero is a new Mac OS X application that allows users to build a ‘BIM database’ from CAD models and other 3D data types including SketchUp, 3DTurbo, Collada, OBJ + MTL, STL and Alembic. The free software contains standard IFC property and quantity templates that allow the enrichment of BIM entities.
