Can drones be flown over highways?

Operating an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS or drone) over state highways and over and around bridges can be hazardous to travelling public and the operator and may be in violation of federal regulations. UAS operations for other purposes such as recreation, private or business uses are not allowed.

Can you fly a drone across state lines?

When traveling domestically in the U.S. with your drone, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) allows you to travel with your drone but you must bring it in carry-on luggage only.
