If your amplifier already has an AUX input. Use that. Alternately some amplifiers will have unused inputs specifically CD, VIDEO, TAPE MONITOR, TUNER inputs if they exist and are unused will handle a line level AUX from most audio equipment just fine. Ones labeled PHONO usually will NOT work for this.
