Can I replace a 12V 12ah battery with a 12V 7Ah battery?

It will work great. I did the same with our powerwheels. The main thing you have to watch is how many volts it is. This is 12 volts and with it being 12ah will last much longer than the one you have that is 7ah.

As the dimensions of the 12 Volt 7Ah battery and the 12 Volt 9Ah battery are exactly the same, they are interchangeable. If you don’t mind paying a little more for the 9Ah version you will receive a higher capacity battery, which can offer you a longer runtime.

Yes, you can upgrade from the 12V 18Ah to the 12V 20Ah to enjoy a longer run time. The dimensions of both batteries are the same, there will be no issues fitting the 12V 20Ah into the electric golf caddy. My fish finder originally came with a 12V 7Ah from the manufacturer.

We started with a 4Ah battery and pretty much the 7Ah battery was just longer (and fit in the box no problem). But – the 12Ah battery is 1.3″ wider and that will not fit in the box. I guess I’ll stick with the 7Ah and just add replacing it to the things I do every January 1st. We needed the larger battery because of the 748 siren.

How do you hook up two batteries to a ups?

Connect the red wire to the positive terminal of one battery. Connect the short jumper between that battery’s negative terminal and the positive terminal of the other battery. Then connect the black wire to the negative terminal of the second battery. If you do not connect them this way, you will not get any power into the UPS.
