Can I skip AWA section in GRE?

All you have to do is skip both AWA essays. For the most part, skipping the AWA essays may be disastrous. Below are a few points to keep in mind if you are thinking of skipping the AWA portion of the GRE test.

Is Awa 2.5 good score?

Now, if your AWA score is 2.5 or lesser, the chances are high that you’ll be rejected in the screening process of top universities but given a similar case where the applicant also has a higher academic record, some debate competitions on his/her plate, followed by a decent verbal/TOEFL score and an above-average SoP.

Does AWA matter for MS in CS?

AWA scores are obviously one of the selection criteria for admissions in US Universities. If you score low you have other credentials in your application to compensate for the low scores. Admission chances would suffer if the department/program you are applying to have got an AWA cut off.
