Can I trust the AKC?
I’m telling you this as a person who loves dogs, don’t trust the AKC (American Kennel Club). The only thing you should trust them with is information about your dog and that’s it. Do not automatically trust breeders with the AKC label on it. Do your due diligence and research the breeder’s reputation.
Does AKC registered mean healthy?
There is a widely held belief that “AKC” or “AKC papers” are a guarantee of the health of a dog. That is not the case. AKC is a registration certificate that identifies the dog as the offspring of a known sire and dam and born on a known date.
Why is AKC bad?
