Can I work as a teaching assistant on OPT?

F-1 students can work on-campus up to 20 hours per week when school is in session, and full-time during school break periods. Any work for which you receive compensation directly from your school, such as being a research or teaching assistant, working in the library or a school-managed residence hall.

Is TA considered faculty or staff?
