Can IGNOU students apply for government jobs?

Yes, a distance degree from IGNOU is equivalent to a degree taken from any accredited university in India. Hence you are eligible to apply for government jobs with your IGNOU degree.

Is IGNOU valid for government job?

Yes, the degree which you obtain from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is valid for getting a government job. The courses offered by IGNOU are approved by University, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
