A student can undergo his CS Training in a law firm that is of 5 years old and having minimum 5 partners which shall impart training up to 3years/2years/one year or 21months in accordance with the provisions of Company Secretaries Regulation 1982 (as amended from time to time) and in accordance with the guidelines laid …

Should a lawyer do CS?

If one is really interested in Corporate and Business law then there is nothing harmful in pursuing the Company Secretaryship along with Law. But, it is not advisable to pursue a course without interest because it needs hard work and time to pursue two professional at the same time.

Is CS easy for law students?

Company Secretary with two years of continuous practice can impart training to one trainee and further number of trainees equal to the number of years of continuous practice is permissible subject to a maximum limit of twenty trainees.

How many leaves are allowed in 24 month CS go?

(a) They will be entitled to get 45 days leaves during the entire training period. (b) Leaves to be calculated on pro-rata basis [ @ 1 casual leave per month & 2 leaves per month for studies & examinations ]. i) One casual leave can be availed for each month of training undergone.

Is LLB mandatory for CS?

llb is not essentially necessary with cs but ,CS+LLB is surely the best option so far making career in CS field is concerned. Furthermore, if you have no interest in LLB, you can do one thing, select a college where attendance is not compulsory and you just need to attend the exams and get the LLB degree..

Is LLB better than CS?

LLB graduates has wider scope in comparison to CS because lawyers are employed in law firms, business companies and they can do independent practice in field of law such criminal law, civil, taxes, IP etc. CS with law is the most demanded professional in business world. CS is niche professional skill.

Can I do LLB CS simultaneously?

Yes, you can pursue both the programme but you need to maintain time management. Both programs requires time to study due to the vast course module, dedication and commitment. So according to me, you should focus on either BA LLB or CS according to your calibre and interest.

Is it compulsory to do training after CS executive?

Students who have passed /Executive programme are required to attend TOP/EDP. It is compulsory to attend before commencement of 15 months training.

Is internship mandatory for CS?

It is mandatory for a student to undergo CS 15-month Training(which is now 1 year for CS Professional passed student under Modified Training Structure).
