Can mutual funds be pledged for trading?

Mutual Fund as Pledge is a facility which allows you to create a trading limit by holding your existing Mutual Fund in the demat account for trading in Future and Options segment.

Can you trade mutual funds intraday?

Mutual fund shares do not trade intraday. Instead, the shares are priced at the close of the market at 4 p.m. EST, when their net asset value (NAV) is calculated.

Can you sell mutual funds immediately?

The shares of mutual funds are very liquid, easily traded, and can be bought or sold on any day the market is open. An order will be executed at the next available net asset value (NAV), which is determined after the market close each trading day.
