Yes, you can. It is not hard to move from IB to CBSE. However, I consider you verifying with your son once and make sure he is absolutely sure of the move as IB very rigorous and his hard work would go to waste.

So, before admitting your kid to school, you should have a clear vision, and plans for their higher studies, if you want them to pursue studies in India CBSE is better and for abroad studies, IB should be first choice.
