Can you be a Minuteman and Brotherhood of Steel?

Brotherhood and Minutemen, no problem. It is slightly tricky, but you can also finish the game allied with Brotherhood, Minutemen, and Railroad.

Will the Minutemen helped the Brotherhood?

The Minutemen essentially want a chance to rebuild their communities and thrive in the Commonwealth. However, if you choose to side with the Minutemen after completing Act II, you will become allied with the Railroad faction, forcing you to take up arms against both the Institute and the Brotherhood of Steel.

Can you become an enemy of the Minutemen?

Pretty sure it’s impossible to do so. They are kind of like the back up faction, if you become enemies with the other three, you always have the minutemen to finish the game.

You need the Minutemen for things like Artillery, and they may be an option later in the game if you fall out of good standing with the Brotherhood/Institute/Railroad and want to finish the main story, but they really aren’t tied to the Settlement system at all.
