Can you do both AMC 10A and 10B?
A. Yes, as long as a student is eligible to take the appropriate competitions. That is, a 10th grader or below can take the both AMC 10 A and the AMC 10 B, the AMC 12 A and the AMC 12 B, etc, and an 11th or 12th grader can take the AMC 12 A and the AMC 12 B.
Can I take AMC A and B?
Students are permitted to take the A version of any competition and the B version of any competition if they meet the age and grade requirements. For example, a student can take the AMC 10 A and AMC 12 B, or the AMC 10 A and AMC 10 B. However, that student may not take the AMC 10 A and AMC 12 A.
Are you allowed to use a calculator on the AMC 10?
The AMC->10 is a 25 question, 75 minute multiple choice examination in secondary school mathematics containing problems which can be understood and solved with pre-calculus concepts. Calculators are allowed.
