Can you get drunk off pure ethanol?

Short answer: yes, but 2 important things to keep in mind: Most ethanol you will get your hands on is “denatured.” This means that toxic ingredients were added to discourage people from trying to get drunk from it. So, do NOT drink denatured ethanol.
