Can you get into Harvard without a degree?

No student with a bachelor’s degree or other first university degree from any other university, whether American or foreign, is eligible for admission to Harvard College. The Harvard College Admissions Office is independent of these schools and their admissions policies.

Can anyone do Harvard Extension School?

Anyone can sign up for an undergraduate Harvard Extension course at any time. If you want to enroll in the degree program, however, you must take three courses and earn at least a B in each. That’s it — no consideration of high school transcripts or SAT and ACT scores.

What are the requirements for Harvard Extension School?

To pursue a graduate degree at Harvard Extension, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You hold a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent.
  • You do not already possess a graduate degree in a similar field.
  • Alternative Admission Pathway Applicants.
  • Biotechnology and Bioengineering & Nanotechnology Applicants.

Non-degree students are those who take courses on a college campus or online with the understanding that they will not receive credits on that campus for the work they do. For example, a student may need to take a course that one school only offers every few years for graduation.

  • Is Harvard Extension School really Harvard?

    As has been stated, Harvard Extension School is part of Harvard University, one of the 12 schools which comprise Harvard University. HES degrees are Harvard University degrees, just like Harvard College, Law, Business, Design, Divinity, etc are Harvard University degrees. In that sense, it is the same degree as it is awarded by the same institution.

    Does Harvard offer online degrees?

    As we said above, Harvard does not award degrees purely through online programs at the moment. However, if you’re interested in a Harvard MBA and you can’t commit to a full-time, on-campus course load, Harvard does have other options. While you can complete much of your MBA coursework online, certain classes require on-campus residency.

    Is Harvard University a good school?

    No, Harvard is a GREAT school. While it is not the best match for everybody, it is, by any reasonable basket of metrics, the best school in the country, if not the world.
