Can you go to RASP after basic training?

After completing Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), Soldiers interested in becoming a part of the 75th Ranger Regiment will report to the Ranger Assessment and Selection facility, where they will be screened and prepared for entry into RASP.

Can you become a Ranger after basic training?

If you do not receive an Option 40 contract, you can either wait for new contracts to become available or attempt to volunteer for Ranger service during your Basic Combat Training (BCT), One Station Unit Training (OSUT), Advance Individual Training (AIT), or while attending Airborne School.
